Prepare for Pancake Day
It’s almost time for the most delicious day of the year: Pancake Day. Pancake Day or Shrove Tuesday as it is known, is always celebrated 47 days before Easter. As the dates for Easter move each year, so too does the date for Shrove Tuesday. It can take place between 3rd February and 9th March. This year, Pancake Day falls on Tuesday 5th March.
Worried about the wait? The later start this year ensures that you’ll have enough time to perfect your pancakes, and at BOSC pavilion, we’ve created a place to practice. On Thursday 21st February, BOSC is hosting a ‘Prepare for Pancake Day’, where community members of all ages are invited to join us from midday-5:30 PM.
The Pancake Race begins at 2:30 PM, so make sure to arrive with enough time to prepare your pancake before the race. A pancake decorating station is available until 5:30 PM. Whether your tastes are classic and you like your pancakes with a bit of lemon and sugar, or you’re looking for something a bit more exotic like Nutella and banana, we’ve got something to suit every palate.
A whole afternoon of fun can be had for £6.50 per person. Call 01420 489060 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to book your space today.
